Stamford CT-based Frontier Communications Launches $450M Notes Offering: Could this be your new frontier for a job?

Stamford, Conn.
-- Frontier Communications, a Stamford-based provider of telephone, TV
and Internet services in 24 states, said on Thursday that it plans to raise up
to $450 million through an offering of senior notes due in 2018. The company
said that it will use the proceeds, along with cash on hand, to finance a cash
tender offer for up to $700 million worth of notes due in 2011 and 2013. The
news helped send company shares down nearly 3% in Thursday's trading on the
New York Stock Exchange.
