Fleet and Travel Commodities Manager



Individual senior role for very profitable health related company.

Responsible for global sourcing of Corporate Travel and Fleet Operations.

You are expected to perform sourcing strategies to drive value and create

bottom-line impact. Spend 45M. Responsibilities include:



. Creating strategies and ROI models



. Presenting new programs to Senior Management.



. Discover new opportunities for Cost Savings and Cost Avoidance



. Manage RFI/RFP process on a global basis.



. Manage supplier selection process



. Examine spend data and market trends and economic influences



Expected Credentials:



. BS degree expected; advanced degree and certifications are assets



. Required expertise with significant spend in these commodities is

mandatory: Travel, Sales and Corporate Events, Fleet and Credit Cards



. Prior management Travel, Events, Fleet and Credit Cards

commodities for a global company



. Experience with Lean Six Sigma favored



. Experience with sophisticated Travel and Expense software



. Proven proficiency with accounting, strategic sourcing, and

supplier models



. Knowledgeable in software applications: ERP, e-Procurement,

e-Sourcing tools



Base compensation can go into the low six figures depending on the selected

candidates depth of Travel, Events, Fleet and Credit commodity knowledge,

spend responsibilities in these commodities and prior experience with

leading edge commodities management methodologies. There is also bonus

potential which to date have consistently been paid out.







Location: Burlington, MA.

relocation is possible.
