Brookfield-based Photronics Prices Public Offering to Raise $85.2 Million:
Brookfield, Conn. - Photronics, a Brookfield-based
supplier of imaging technology for the electronics industry, announced on Friday
that it has priced a public offering of convertible debt and common stock to
raise a total of about $85.2 million. Photronics makes photomasks, which are
high-precision quartz plates that contain microscopic images of electronic
circuits. A key element in the manufacture of semiconductors and flat panel
displays, photomasks are used to transfer circuit patterns onto semiconductor
wafers and flat panel substrates.
