Background in


*Multi-phase alternating-current power switching and distribution


*Including AC circuit breakers of all types,


*High-power AC connectors


*National Electric Code and Underwriters Laboratories/NRTL Listing/Recognition regulations and processes safety


*Understanding of thermal management issues and mechanical packaging is required


*Demonstrated experience in the design and application of hybrid relays for AC power switching is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Design, analyze, adjust, test and troubleshoot hybrid solid state
relays, microprocessor protected relays and other power distribution
apparatus. Assist in the performance of testing.

Required Qualifications:

 B.S., M.S. preferred in Electrical Engineering


 4 - 7 years in hybrid SSR design electrical relay and power control equipment


 Experience reading electrical one-line, schematic and wiring diagrams


 Experience with various complex protective relay schemes


 Candidate should have knowledge of three phase power systems


 Good analytical and problem solving skills


 Exercises good communication, negotiation, organizational and time management skills


 Ability to adapt to changing technology


 Experience in power system stability.
