Below is the job description to which I am referring for a current job opening located in Portsmouth, NH:

2+ months

Project:
Asset Center data review and comparison. Selected individuals will work
closely with members of the Supply Chain Asset Management team to
verify hardware and software asset information. Using tools such as
Eracent and our own ACER application, review assets for comparison.
Differences between various sources will be researched and
determinations made as to the true status of assets.

Participates
in the inventory management of all IT assets in the desktop and
midrange areas for the purpose of ensuring accurate chargeback and
software compliance for the Company. Reviews and evaluates data for
opportunities to improve asset management, license compliance and
redeployment of available assets. Participates in the analysis and
resolution of issues related to information flow and content with
clients and IT management and staff. Monitors data architecture
standards and conventions.

1.       Maintains
policies and procedures related to the inventory and management of any
IT hardware designated as assets and all licensed software products.

2.       Processing related updates of ownership, availability and transfers

3.       Ensures
hardware and software license/contract assets are correctly
categorized, monitored and maintained in the asset tracking system

4.       Performs data cleanup tasks in asset management system as necessary
