NH Nanomanufacturing Center Awarded $12.25 Million NSF Grant

N.H. -- The National Science Foundation (NSF) has announced a five-year,
$12.25 million renewal grant for the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center
for High-rate Nanomanufacturing
, a joint partnership between the University
of New Hampshire, Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts
Lowell. The Nanomanufacturing Center is focusing on developing commercially
viable methods for producing nanoscale devices. One of its focus areas is
developing miniature nano-biosensors capable of detecting cancer at a very early
stage.
