Westborough, Mass. - Noresco, a Westborough-based
provider of energy savings technology, announced on Wednesday that it will
implement a guaranteed energy savings agreement worth $1.7 million for the
Independent School District in Mineral Wells, Texas. Structured as an
energy savings performance contract, the project will allow the school district,
at no upfront cost, to implement infrastructure improvements at eight
facilities, totaling 598,000 square feet. The key savings drivers for the
project are lighting system upgrades, new building automation and control
systems, and conventional plumbing fixture replacements, Noresco said.
