Colchester-based provider of online commerce, communications and digital media
services to grocery store chains and consumer packaged goods companies, has
raised a $13 million in equity from Stripes Group, a New York-based
investment firm. Founded in 1999, MyWebGrocer also operates a grocery ad
network. The company reports that it has been profitable nearly since its
inception. Over 5,000 grocery stores nationwide uses the company's platform and
over 60 major brands, including Kelloggs, Unilever, Nestle and P&G, use its
grocery ad network.
