Entry Level Software Developer - Needham, MA

ProfSoft (www.profsoft-health.com) is hiring an entry-level programmer for our web reporting and data


analysis applications. The position focuses mostly on user interface development, but also involves


programming analytic algorithms and data management functions. You will be developing applications


in the following environments C#

/ASP.NET

, SQL, Stata, and C.

Responsibilities


You will develop software products that integrate and analyze multiple data sources for delivery in


dynamic online reports. You will contribute to several phases of the software life cycle including


specification, design, implementation, testing, and debugging.


• Design, program, test and debug web applications for new software products


• Review and enhance existing products


• Develop program and technical documentation (including design documents and test plans)


• Contribute in evaluation of new analytical methods and software


Requirements & Skills


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent


• Broad programming experience including but not limited to:


• Web technologies (ASP.NET)


• SQL/Databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)


• Serial programming (such as C)


• Statistical programming tools (e.g. STATA, SAS)


• Excellent user interface design and development skills/experience desired


• Strong math/statistics and analytical skills a plus


• Health care industry knowledge a plus
