Human Resources Manager - Danvers, MA

Primary Responsibilities:
The HR Manager oversees all areas of Human Resources for the staff
including organizational development, employee relations, recruiting,
performance management, internal communications, benefits and
compensation.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
"« Entering and updating employee information in payroll software system
"« Maintaining current and complete Human Resources records- (ADP HR Profile)
"« Update and manage accurate and thorough employee files
"« Ensuring current and accurate compliance with federal and state labor laws
"« Ensure consistent application and compliance with company policies and procedures
"« Develop plans for finding applicants to fill job openings, managing
job postings, interview processes, reference and background checks
"« Employment and compliance regulatory requirements
"« Manage employee orientation, development, and training
"« Maintain and distribute monthly employee newsletter
"« Assisting managers with employee relations
"« Compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping
"« Prepares periodic reports for management
Benefits Administration
"« Conducts benefit orientations and other benefit training.
"« Processes enrollments, changes, and terminations of participants in all benefit plans and programs.
"« Reconciles monthly billing statements against payroll deductions.
"« Administers the day-to-day transactions of the 401(k) plan.
Training and Development
"« Schedules participants in training sessions.
"« Tracks participants and training records, while maintaining current database.
"« Helps develop employee performance plans.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a true hands-on approach, as well as
strong knowledge of employment laws and benefit plans. This individual
must be comfortable communicating with all levels of management and
employees. The HR Manager will stay current with issues and concerns
related to the changing work environment and appropriately address
areas of employee interest. Effective presentation, coaching and
persuasion skills are necessary.
Background & Experience:
"« Bachelor's degree
"« Experience with a facility of 150 or more hourly employees, as well as exempt staff
"« 2-5 years of related experience in Human Resources
"« Experience with payroll processing through ADP & ReportSmith is preferred
Compensation based upon experience
