We are currently looking for a Provider Services Representative to join our team in Quincy, MA.
Job Responsibilities:
The Provider Services Representative interacts with customers
through telephone, e-mail and personal contact in response to claim
inquiries. Provides information pertaining to claim adjudication
including method of payment, co-pay or deductible amounts, reason for
denial, claims status, eligibility, and referrals. Applies knowledge of
claims systems and claims operations in support of assigned customer
group. Resolves customer questions, complaints and requests, frequently
involving some policy interpretation. Serves as liaison between
customers and various company departments. Processes adjustments, and
maintains tracking and logging records. Prepares required reports and
conducts other related customer services.
Required Skills:
- Customer service via phone and email
- Knowledge and comfort level with all Windows-based applications
Desired Skills:
- Flexible, excellent communication skills
- Ability to give high-quality, productive, reliable service to providers
- Knowledge of healthcare provider claims, billing and business operations helpful
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, will consider Associates with directly applicable, successful work experience
