Field Service Engineer - Nashua, NH

SKY-SKAN, (http://www.skyskan.com), a leading provider of the ultimate high
definition theater experience, is seeking an additional Field Service
Engineer to install and repair complex multimedia systems in domed theaters
worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have good IT/networking skills, strong math skills
(geometry, algebra, trigonometry), be able to install computers and run
cables; have general Windows software knowledge, electrical, mechanical,
carpentry and masonry knowledge, have the ability to read schematics/block
diagrams and thinks well on their feet.

Must be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal
supervision.

Must be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities, scheduling work
activities and writing reports.

Ability to solve problems, think analytically and communicate professionally
in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environments.

Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Must be excited by challenges, have the ability to learn quickly,
troubleshoot, adapt to changing circumstances and thrive in a fast-paced
environment.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to
provide feedback concerning product questions, workflow issues and
performance anomalies encountered in the field, make recommendations for
improvements and provide follow-up with customers and management.

Provide support at conventions, trade shows and customer demonstrations 

Special consideration will be given to people with video projection, and/or
audio system experience and/or foreign language skills.

Candidates must have good hearing, good eyesight (correctable) and ability
to discern colors, reasonable strength and agility, good verbal and written
communications. Some heavy lifting and scaffold climbing at heights is
required.

Associates' degree or Bachelor's degree in any engineering/technical
discipline is required. A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is
required. 

This position will require 70 - 90% travel, including some weekend and night
work and will include on-the-job training.
