Audit Manager - Boston Area - Reports to the Audit Director - Base is 100-115K + Terrific Incentives
Our client is a highly respected global public Company with a terrific person to work for who's goal is to develop someone over the next three to five years to be able to become an Audit Director. This person will see every aspect including working with the Director regarding BOD/Audit Committee presentations.
Requirements:
Work strategically to evaluate risks and controls
Support the strategic direction
Develop hypotheses around risks and controls; implement, and execute risk assessment framework
Provide input to the development of the integrated audit plan in conjunction with our external auditors
Coordinate audit activities to ensure that the complex risks identified in the assigned project are properly addressed
Deliver results to improve the control environment within the business
Identify and apply leading-edge technology and other tools to improve the audit process and results
Provide thought leadership and direction across audit for critical knowledge areas
Identify changes in internal and external environments (regulatory) that will impact risk profile and audit work
Communicate Issues and Findings; Devise Solutions, and Drive Positive Change
Communicate regularly with management and effectively articulate risk issues to more senior levels of management
Identify audit findings/issues that have enterprise-wide implications
Draft complete and concise audit reports that provide a clear description of issues identified and related implications on the business and/or enterprise
Assist the business in developing action plans that effectively mitigate the risk
Follow-up on identified issues and corrective actions to ensure problem resolution evaluation
Strong Technical Accounting with significant experience with SOX/404, Controls, etc....
CPA is required (Board Mandated)
5+ years of experience with Public/Private Mix
Progressive experience within industry after public accounting
Strong technical and presentation skills
Global Company experience preferred.
Travel to other operating Sites (10-20%)
