This is a professional level Human Resources position which supports the Classification and Compensation Unit. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: conducts and participates in salary surveys, performs desk audits and job analysis, and prepares and revises job descriptions. Uses a variety of job evaluation tools to assist in classification of positions within the agency, including position control. Participates in the administration of Oracle HRMS (Human Resource Management System) to include system testing, problem resolution, and report preparation. Interprets and applies FLSA and Wage and Hour regulations to classification and pay studies and responds to employee issues. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible professional-level experience in Human Resources administration, including classification and pay and/or an equivalent combination of training and classification/pay experience. Demonstrated proficiency in HRMS and Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal/written communications skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and interact and work well at all levels of the organization. Must be detail oriented.

PREFERENCES: Oracle HR applications, Adobe Acrobat, and public sector classification and compensation experience.

DIVISION: Human Resources (Classification and Compensation Unit)

Starting Pay Range: $50,892.00 - $55,584.00

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
