Billerica-based GE Sensing & Inspection Gets $2.2 Million Navy Contract

Billerica, Mass. -- GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies, a Billerica-based provider of advanced measurement, sensor-based and inspection services, on Monday announced it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Navy to provide remote visual inspection equipment, operator training and data management software to the U.S. Navy's inspection teams supporting the Atlantic and Pacific fleets. Under the contract, GE will supply video probes outfitted with menu driven inspection software to help standardize the inspection process and increase accuracy and efficiency.
