Waltham-based American DG Energy Raises $3.5 Million Private Placement

Waltham, Mass. - American DG Energy, a Waltham-based provider of on-site clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling services to hospitality, healthcare, housing and athletic facilities, announced on Monday that it has raised about $3.5 million in a private placement of stock. The company said it will use the proceeds to fund additional installations of its energy systems and for general corporate and working capital purposes. The company provides its utility services without any capital or start-up costs to the energy user.
