Framingham, Mass. -- Silicom Ventures, a large angel
investment organization, has named Boston Heart Lab, a Framingham-based
developer of diagnostics for patients with heart disease, as the "Most Promising
Early Stage Company" for 2009. A four-judge panel selected Boston Heart Lab
at Silicom's 2009 Investment Summit, after evaluating the 20 participating
companies for quality of management, vision, execution abilities, and the
potential scope of the opportunities. Boston Heart Lab has seen strong revenues
since it began clinical operations in August 2008, according to an
announcement.
