Financial Analyst Wanted! Fairfield County CT

Our client is a Fairfield County CT consumer products company with a
global reach looking for a Financial Analyst to help grow the brands




Responsibility:




- Financial Planning & Analysis of Global Product Brands


- Analyze and report on brand financial results.


- Monthly analysis on Gross Margins and marketing support spend.


- Month end account analysis for corporate spend along with monthly reviews of results and development of forecasts.


- Development of three year financial plans for new brand launches and brand extensions.


- Tacking monthly performance vs. budget targets and prior year actuals on key metrics through scorecard process.


- Assisting in the development of the annual budget.




Requirements and Skills:




Experience in a similar position for a consumer products company is a must




- BA degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred.


- 3-5 years financial analysis experience with a consumer goods company.


- Strong Financial Modeling Skills.


- Strong analytical skills and problem solving.


- Strong people collaboration skills.


- Hyperion, Discoverer and Microsoft Access skill a plus.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with senior management.


- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel).
