Have you wanted to try meditation because you've heard
about all of the benefits it offers, but thought it would be too difficult for
you to do? Join Steve as he shares simple, easy to follow meditation techniques
that will help you to have a deep and meaningful meditation experience.  This
class is designed to give individual attention to each student so that your
meditation experience is uncomplicated, and you are able to take what you have
learned home with you and continue to practice meditation and enjoy all that it
has to offer.

            Each class will begin with an hour of Svaroopa
Yoga poses that will relax your body and quiet your mind: the best preparation
for meditation.  Then Steve will show you different meditation positions to sit
in. He will assist you with props and blankets to make sure you are comfortable
while you meditate.  After giving instructions and techniques for the
meditation, the class will meditate together silently for 20
minutes.   

After the meditation, members of the class will share
their individual experiences and Steve will address any difficulties you may
have had during the meditation and answer general questions about your
experience. 

The class is scheduled to end at 3 PM but occasionally
discussions and questions among the students and Steve may last longer.
