This position will provide strategic direction for all CFG payroll systems and services including establishing and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Management of the payroll departments and related functions for CFG supporting 27,000+ colleagues (present and past) with multiple states, entities and locations, garnishments, controls, cycle balancing, operations, check printing and distribution, time and attendance, case management for Tier II resolution, and centralized file room.
Other Qualifications include:
10 years experience for hands-on functional Payroll operations and tax experience and at least 5 years experience in a management/supervisory role.
Thorough knowledge of overall payroll operations to include tax processing is required
Hands-on PeopleSoft Payroll knowledge and experience is required
Prior experience with ADP-related platforms is preferred
Ability to meet critical deadlines on a daily basis with limited supervision
Proven success in handling multiple tasks
Strong fiscal aptitude
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proven consultative abilities at a senior level
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's Degree preferred
Following certificates/licenses preferred: CPP, CPA, CMA
Other education or training preferred: PMP
